The club has informed four players that they will not be offered new contracts for the 2026 season.

The Sydney Swans have informed Robbie Fox, Caleb Mitchell, Indhi Kirk and Ben Paton that they will not be offered new contracts with the club for the 2026 season.

Fox arrived at the Swans after being taken with pick 34 in the 2017 rookie draft and went on to play 105 games including two stellar Grand Final appearances (2022, 2024).

The hard running on-baller was always a favourite among the Swans faithful, regularly putting the team first in the many roles he played along his professional career. He was regarded as one of the most versatile players in his time on the list, playing various roles across half back, wing and the midfield.

Caleb Mitchell was taken with pick 40 in the 2022 AFL draft, and played three senior games for the Swans, having made his AFL debut in Round 3 of the 2024 season against Richmond at the MCG.

Paton arrived at the Sydney Swans via pick 25 in the 2024 rookie draft having previously notched up 71 AFL games with St Kilda. The defender played four games for the Swans in 2025.

Kirk, who was taken as a category B rookie in the 2024 draft, came through the QBE Sydney Swans Academy. He represented the club 43 times in the VFL from 2022-2025.

Sydney Swans Executive General Manger – Football, Leon Cameron, wished all four players the very best.

“It’s always a really difficult time of year when we need to make these list decisions,” Cameron said.

“Robbie, Caleb, Indhi and Ben have all made significant contributions to the Swans through their time here at the club. We are very grateful for their hard work and commitment.

“Robbie, in particular, will be remembered fondly within the footy club having played over 100 games for us which is no small achievement.

“On behalf of everyone at the Club, I wish all boys the very best for their futures,” Cameron said”
