Wrexham face their biggest game of the season so far as they look to bounce back from a disappointing defeat against Shrewsbury by welcoming Birmingham City.

Phil Parkinson’s side know that they cannot afford to lose or else their hopes for the League One title could well and truly be dashed.

Wrexham are unbeaten at the Racecourse Ground this season and have been handed a major fitness boost ahead of the game with Parkinson confirming Lewis Brunt is available for the game.

With owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney in attendance for the game, there will certainly be a US celebrity feel to the game with Birmingham owner Tom Brady also expected to watch.

The ‘Hollywood Derby’ could be set to break all sorts of viewing records for the third tier of English football and interest over in the USA is bubbling for this one.

In addition to being above Wrexham in the league, Birmingham have also flexed their muscles over the Wrexham owners off the pitch this season too.

Rob McElhenney joked with Tom Brady before the previous encounter this season, where Birmingham ran out 3-1 winners despite Jack Marriott opening the scoring inside three minutes.

Wrexham will be hoping that when they welcome Brady’s Blues to North Wales, the dominance comes to an end for 90 minutes.
