(April 14, 2026) – Campbell senior Thomas Drapeau received CAA men’s tennis Player of the Week honors, while Charleston sophomore Sia Cariov was chosen as the CAA women’s tennis Player of the Week. The William & Mary duo of Oliver Hague and Gur Trakhtenberg were selected as the men’s Doubles Team of the Week and Elon’s Simone Bergeron and Mariana Reding earned women’s Doubles Team of the Week accolades.CAA Men’s Tennis Player of the WeekThomas Drapeau, Sr., Campbell (Quebec City, Quebec)Drapeau went 2-0 at No. 1 singles to help Campbell record important conference victories over Charleston (4-3) and North Carolina A&T (5-2) last week. With the match against Charleston tied at 3-3, the senior edged Jakub Solarski, 7-5, 3-6, 7-6 (5) to give the Camels the win. He followed by beating A&T’s Jindrich Brill, 6-3, 6-4 for his team-best 11th singles victory. Drapeau and partner Aleksandar Hudjec also clinched the doubles point against the Aggies with a 6-4 triumph at No. 2.CAA Women’s Tennis Player of the WeekSia Cariov, So., Charleston (Delray Beach, Fla.)Cariov earned a pair of victories at No. 1 singles to help lead Charleston past South Carolina State (6-1) and CAA foe UNCW (5-2) last week. The Tribe tandem rolled past UD’s Federico Garbero and Euan Mackenzie, 6-2, to help secure the doubles point, and then clinched the doubles point vs. JMU by beating Esteve Agusti and Aurelien Schmitt, 6-4.
