ROX Partners with Muay Thai Federation of Pakistan to Host National Championship in Lahore

ROX, the next-generation lifestyle app by Jazz, partnered with the Muay Thai Federation of Pakistan to successfully host the 7th Edition of the National Muay Thai Championship in Lahore. Held from October 24 to 26, the championship brought together teams from all four provinces along with leading departmental teams from across the country.

This year’s championship marked a milestone for the sport in Pakistan as it witnessed significant participation of women athletes, reflecting the growing popularity and inclusivity of combat sports nationwide.

Commenting on the partnership, Kazim Mujtaba, President Consumer Division at Jazz, said: “ROX is about more than supporting sports; it’s about creating experiences where young people find energy, connection, and identity. Whether through combat sports like Muay Thai, football, or cultural expressions in arts and lifestyle, ROX gives youth the space to explore their passions, build communities, and shape a culture of ambition and belonging.”

Yousaf Rizvi, President of the Muay Thai Federation of Pakistan, added: “The support from ROX is a testament to the potential of public-private partnerships in advancing combat sports across Pakistan. Together, we have provided a platform where athletes showcased their talent, inspired the youth, and took Muay Thai to new heights in the country.”

In recent months, ROX has collaborated on initiatives promoting football, arts, and lifestyle experiences, and this extension into combat sports further reflects its commitment to creating inclusive avenues for young people to explore their passions and thrive in diverse communities across the country. The matches of the National Muay Thai Championship were also streamed live on Jazz’s Tamasha app, bringing the excitement of the event to audiences nationwide.
