Manchester United have already been busy in the summer transfer market as they look to give Ruben Amorim the tools to go about his United rebuild in his first full season in charge.

Matheus Cunha has already arrived from Wolves in a £62.5million transfer, while Bryan Mbeumo is edging closer to a move to Old Trafford after United submitted a second bid for the Brentford star.

The pair will fill United's attacking midfield slots next season but they could still be in the market for a new centre-forward, centre-midfielder, wing-back and goalkeeper this summer.

With that in mind, we have picked out 10 players out of contract in 2026 who United could look to buy this summer to solve some of their transfer priorities.

Bryan Mbeumo

Mbeumo's contract runs out at Brentford next summer and, as previously mentioned, United are desperate to secure his signature this summer.

United tabled a new and improved bid in excess of £60million for the Cameroon international after an opening offer worth £55million was turned down earlier this month.

The 25-year-old scored 20 Premier League goals for the Bees last season and will help to sharpen United's blunt attack.

Frenkie de Jong

There hasn't been a summer transfer window for years that United haven't been linked with a move for the Barcelona midfielder.

Erik ten Hag was desperate to be reunited with his former Ajax midfielder at Old Trafford but since Amorim has replaced the Dutchman, those links have gone colder.

That being said, the two-time La Liga winner would still be an excellent addition to this United side and his situation this summer is one to watch.

Dusan Vlahovic

United need a forward and Vlahovic is said to be available as he has failed to agree terms on a new contract with Juventus.

The Serbian international scored 16 goals in all competitions last term, just one less than Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee managed combined.

The 25-year-old still has his best years ahead of him and would be an instant upgrade on United's current forward options.

Yoane Wissa

Like Mbeumo, Wissa scored plenty of goals for Brentford last season and is attracting interest from elsewhere in the Premier League.

The DR Congo international bagged 20 goals in all competitions and can play right across the forward line. At 28, he is perhaps just about hitting his prime, too.

Rodrigo Bentancur

Bentancur is yet to agree new terms with Tottenham and would offer proven Premier League quality.

The 28-year-old is international team-mates with United midfielder Manuel Ugarte for Uruguay and is a serial trophy winner.

Having helped Tottenham beat United to win last season's Europa League, he has also won seven major trophies with Juventus and three with Boca Juniors.

Mike Maignan

Maignan has proven himself as one of European football's best goalkeepers, both with AC Milan and the France national team.

Still aged just 29, he is young for a goalkeeper and has attracted interest from Chelsea already this summer. Few could argue he would not be an upgrade on Andre Onana.

Ruben Neves

United were routinely linked with Neves while he was at Wolves but, ultimately, he ended up moving to Saudi Pro League outfit Al-Hilal.

The Portugal international midfielder, 28, is entering the final year of his three-year deal with the club and could be tempted by a return to top level European football.

Julian Brandt

Brandt has spent his entire career in Germany across spells with Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund but his qualities should translate to the Premier League.

The 29-year-old Germany international can operate anywhere across the midfield and is yet to pen fresh terms at Signal Iduna Park.

Ola Aina

Aina was a huge reason as to why Nottingham Forest challenged at the top end of the Premier League table last term and is exactly the kind of wing-back who would thrive in Amorim's system.

The Nigeria international, 28, recently triggered an extension to remain at the City Ground until the end of next season but has not penned fresh terms beyond that yet.

Quinten Timber

The twin brother of Arsenal defender, Jurrien, Quinten Timber is a combative midfielder who has impressed for both Feyenoord and the Netherlands.

Liverpool boss Arne Slot has waxed lyrical about the qualities the 24-year-old possesses and he could prove to be a shrewd addition in midfield.
