At 28, he is perhaps just about hitting his prime, too.Rodrigo BentancurBentancur is yet to agree new terms with Tottenham and would offer proven Premier League quality.The 28-year-old is international team-mates with United midfielder Manuel Ugarte for Uruguay and is a serial trophy winner.Having helped Tottenham beat United to win last season's Europa League, he has also won seven major trophies with Juventus and three with Boca Juniors.Mike MaignanMaignan has proven himself as one of European football's best goalkeepers, both with AC Milan and the France national team.Still aged just 29, he is young for a goalkeeper and has attracted interest from Chelsea already this summer. Few could argue he would not be an upgrade on Andre Onana.Ruben NevesUnited were routinely linked with Neves while he was at Wolves but, ultimately, he ended up moving to Saudi Pro League outfit Al-Hilal.The Portugal international midfielder, 28, is entering the final year of his three-year deal with the club and could be tempted by a return to top level European football.Julian BrandtBrandt has spent his entire career in Germany across spells with Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund but his qualities should translate to the Premier League.The 29-year-old Germany international can operate anywhere across the midfield and is yet to pen fresh terms at Signal Iduna Park.Ola AinaAina was a huge reason as to why Nottingham Forest challenged at the top end of the Premier League table last term and is exactly the kind of wing-back who would thrive in Amorim's system.The Nigeria international, 28, recently triggered an extension to remain at the City Ground until the end of next season but has not penned fresh terms beyond that yet.Quinten TimberThe twin brother of Arsenal defender, Jurrien, Quinten Timber is a combative midfielder who has impressed for both Feyenoord and the Netherlands.Liverpool boss Arne Slot has waxed lyrical about the qualities the 24-year-old possesses and he could prove to be a shrewd addition in midfield.
