BULLS FALL TO WEEKEND OPPONENTS NO. 57 CHARLOTTE AND NO. 29 FAU; LOOKING AHEAD TO MID-WEEK MATCH VS. NO. 67 WICHITA STATE

TAMPA, FLA. (March 16, 2025) - The South Florida women's tennis team (5-11) fell short in its weekend matches, dropping to both No. 57 Charlotte (13-3) and No. 29 Florida Atlantic (9-0) by a score of 4-0.

On Saturday facing Charlotte, although doubles duo Dharani Niroshan and Melisa Senli won their court in doubles, the Bulls lost the overall doubles point to the 49ers. The team battled through singles play, but ultimately Charlotte took the sweep 4-0. On Sunday facing Florida Atlantic, the South Florida team brought their best, but ended up losing the match by another score of 4-0.

UP NEXT

The Bulls return to their home courts in Tampa, Fla. to square off against No. 67 Wichita State on Wednesday, March 19 for a mid-week matchup. Start time begins at 10 a.m. EST and streamed on ESPN +.
