The World Football Summit (WFS) is set to take place in Rabat, Morocco, on April 9-10, 2025, marking a significant moment in African football’s evolution. In partnership with UM6P, Evosport, and the support of OCP Group as the Presenting Partner, the summit will bring together over 1000 leaders from the global football industry. This prestigious gathering follows Morocco’s historic performance at the World Cup and comes ahead of the country’s co-hosting of the 2030 FIFA World Cup.

WFS Rabat 2025 represents a milestone for African football, highlighting Morocco’s emergence as a key player in the global football arena. The summit will focus on the critical issues facing football governance, infrastructure development, and investment opportunities. With the Moroccan Football Federation (FMRF) providing strong support, the summit is expected to foster discussions on advancing football on the continent. These include Fouzi Lekjaa (President of the Moroccan Football Federation), Gelson Fernandez (Deputy Chief Member Associations & FIFA Regional Director Africa), and Fréderic Kanouté, the renowned football legend. Other notable figures include Shehu Dikko, the Honourable Minister of Sports from Nigeria, and Eniola Aluko, an investor and advisor in football.

The gathering will also see representation from prestigious organizations like FIFA, the Confederation of African Football (CAF), and global clubs such as FC Barcelona. Government officials from Nigeria, Ghana, and Kenya will also be present, ensuring a well-rounded and impactful dialogue on the development of African football.
