Towhid Hridoy and Jaker Ali continue Bangladesh’s recovery, guiding the team past 100 after a disastrous start against India in their ICC Champions Trophy 2025 clash in Dubai.

At 105/5 in 29 overs, the duo has stitched together a 70-run stand off 126 balls, stabilizing the innings.

Hridoy is on 35 off 63, while Jaker has matched him with 35 off 71, both playing cautiously.

India’s spinners have kept the pressure on, with Kuldeep Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja operating in tandem.

Bangladesh lost five early wickets as India’s bowlers dominated the powerplay in their Champions Trophy 2025 match at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Thursday.

Bangladesh find themseleves in trouble at 36/5 in 9 overs. Mohammed Shami (2 wickets) and debutant Harshit Rana (1 wicket) made early inroads, leaving the batting side struggling.

Axar Patel made an immediate impact, picking up 2 wickets in his first over.

The group stage will see matches played across the four venues: Dubai, Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi. The first semi-final will be held on 4 March in Dubai, with the second semi-final scheduled for 5 March at Gaddafi Stadium. If India does not qualify for the final, it will be held in Lahore; otherwise, the final will take place at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
