Mediacorp to offer all 104 World Cup matches from S$98

SINGAPORE: Football fans will be able to watch all 104 matches at the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup live from S$98 (US$76), Mediacorp announced on Thursday (Apr 2).

The early bird price is available from now until Apr 30. Thereafter, a standard subscription price of S$118 will apply.

Both prices are unchanged from the 2022 tournament.

Subscriptions are also available through Mediacorp's carriage partners Singtel and StarHub.

"The FIFA World Cup 2026 is the most expansive edition to date, featuring a record 48 teams and 104 matches – a massive increase of 40 matches over the 64 played in 2022," said Mediacorp, the parent company of CNA.

"Co-hosted across Canada, Mexico and the United States from Jun 12 to July 20, 2026, the tournament offers subscribers more live action than ever before for the same investment."

Subscribers will be able to stream the matches on existing devices like smart TVs, tablets and smartphones via mewatch.

Activation of subscriptions is instant, and subscriptions are contract-free.

"More matches, same price – we think that's the right thing to do for football fans in Singapore," said Mediacorp's chief customer officer Angeline Poh.

"With mewatch's instant activation and no-contract flexibility, all 104 matches are just a tap away – the best seat in the house, wherever you are.

"It's our honour to bring this tournament to fans across Singapore, and we can't wait to experience every moment together."

Mediacorp said on Feb 5 that it had secured exclusive rights to the tournament, and would be providing free coverage of 28 of the tournament's 104 matches on Channel 5 and mewatch.

This is an increase from the nine games it covered free-to-air at the 2022 World Cup.

The 28 matches comprise the opening match, 23 other group-stage matches, both semi-finals, the third-place playoff and the final.

Argentina will go into the tournament as the defending champions, having beaten France in the 2022 World Cup final.

Apart from this year's tournament, Mediacorp will also cover all 64 matches and the ceremonies of the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup, as well as a range of additional FIFA events taking place between 2026 and 2028, including the FIFA U-17 World Cup, FIFA U-20 World Cup, FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup and FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup.

Mediacorp audiences can also continue to view a curated list of football’s greatest moments via FIFA+, a free channel on mewatch.

Featuring 24/7 programming, the channel showcases full-length classic matches, curated highlights, vignettes and "best of" compilations, as well as a selection of FIFA+ titles and documentaries.
