Just call him Julian "Laser Show" Sayin from now on.On a week when many of the top teams in college football had to struggle to survive and retain their spot in the polls, Ohio State continued to dominate and demonstrate why it deserves to sit atop the College Football Playoff rankings. The Buckeyes went into an environment the team has had a handful of inconsistent performances within across roughly the last two decades and emerged from West Lafayette with a 34-10 victory over the Purdue Boilermakers.Sayin continues to sling the rock in remarkable fashion. Ohio State's Heisman hopeful quarterback has now thrown for over 300 yards while also completing at least 80 percent of his passes in three straight wins. This marks the sixth time this season he has recorded at least 300 passing yards and the fifth time in which he has completed no less than four of every five of his passing attempts. For context, Will Howard hit that standard of accuracy in six regular season games last season, which was far and away the most by any Buckeye quarterback ever. Sayin still has three games left before the start of the postseason. These aren't dink and dime dump offs to players at the line of scrimmage, either. Sayin only threw for one passing touchdown yesterday, but only because Ohio State's three other trips to the end zone all transpired via goal line plunges of three yards or less. Ryan Day continues to have his quarterbacks playing at an elite level season-after-season, and Sayin has merely become the latest extension of that. The rest of the college football world has started to take notice as the Heisman race appears it will come down to Sayin versus Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza in a potential No. 1 vs. No. 2 Big Ten Championship game. That is, unless Jeremiah Smith goes on his own tear down the stretch.Let's examine how social media took in the day of college football yesterday and appreciated the latest win along Ohio State's national title defense campaign:YOU ABSOLUTELY DID NOT NEED TO SAY THAT, URBANYOU ABSOLUTELY DID NEED TO SAY THAT, MATT LEINARTCURT "NO CONCERNS" CIGNETTITHERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN CONCERNSTHERE IS NO HEISMENDOZA WITHOUT OMAR COOPER JR.YOU'RE SAFE FOR NOW, CIGDO NOT MESS WITH GRAMBLING STATEYOU CAN STAND UNDER MY UMBRELLA, ELLA ELLABEAUTIFUL SLOP: THE ART OF FERENTZBALLRAIN OR SHINE, YOU GOTTA DELIVERGOD FORBID A WALK-ON GET A LIL MOTIONLUKE FICKELL STOPS THE BLEEDING IN MADISONWE SEE YOU YOUNG BOSTONIF YOU CAN'T BEAT 'EM, JOIN 'EMREJOICE, BADGER NATIONWAKE FOREST HANDS VIRGINIA ITS FIRST ACC LOSSCAL WALKS OFF LOUISVILLE ON 4TH AND GOAL IN OTOK, LET'S GET BACK TO WEST LAFAYETTETHE LASER SHOW IS IN THE BUILDINGTBDFITLEVEN THE WARM-UPS ARE HIGHLIGHTSOH CAPTAINS, MY CAPTAINSDO NOT MEET CALEB DOWNS IN THE OPEN FIELDYOU CAN'T GUARD HIM, YOU CAN ONLY FOUL HIMBIG DON DOING BIG THINGSDADE COUNTY RECEIVERS RECOGNIZE EACH OTHERANOTHER LOOK AT THE LASERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRA NEW KING RISES IN OHIORUN THE TIP DRILL, REAP THE REWARDSREAL PROS TAP TWO TOESYOU WILL RESPECT THE KIENHOLZ TEBOW PACKAGEIT AIN'T NO FUN IF THE BACKUP CAN'T HAVE NONEDOING MORE WITH LESSA NEW CAREER LONGONE-FOR-ONE FOR ONE OF ONESTOP LOOKIN' AT MY LEMONADELET'S KEEP IT MOVING10-0 LOADING...DO NOT LOOK DIRECTLY INTO THE LASERRRRRRRRRRWE'LL TAKE TWO HEISMANSGIVE IT TO THE OTHER GUYTHE FLOOR IS LAVA: GRIDIRON EDITIONYOU CAN'T HANG WITH USDOCTA PEPPA TIMETHE KEY TO SUCCESS IS......
