NFL Wild Card playoff expert picks: Moneyline, spread, predictions

The regular season has come and gone. The playoffs lie ahead, and the Lombardi Trophy waits for the sole survivor. First up is the Wild Card round, and the Pride of Detroit staff have made their picks for the entire slate of games.

The games get started on Saturday, and the first matchup of the playoffs sees Jim Harbaugh make his return to the postseason when his Los Angeles Chargers take on the Houston Texans at 4:30 p.m. ET on CBS/Paramount+. After that, the AFC North takes centerstage with a third installment between bitter rivals: the Pittsburgh Steelers travel to Maryland to take on the Baltimore Ravens at 8 p.m. ET on Amazon Prime Video.

Three games will span your Sunday airwaves, starting with the Denver Broncos meeting the Buffalo Bills in Orchard Park, NY at 1 p.m. ET on CBS/Paramount+. To follow up, the Green Bay Packers take on the Philadelphia Eagles at 4:30 p.m. ET on FOX, and for “Sunday Night Football,” the Washington Commanders square off with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at 8:00 p.m. ET on NBC/Peacock.

“Monday Night Football” closes things out with the first round: Minnesota Vikings vs. the Los Angeles Rams at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN/ABC/ESPN+.

As we have done in past seasons, our staff will be making weekly predictions for every game on the NFL schedule. Each of the Pride of Detroit staff will pick the moneyline (winner of the game, no spread), but some of the members will also pick against the spread and even the over/under lines—there’s an easy toggle button in the widget below to cycle through the settings. You can also check out all of the odds for this week’s games courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook.

Here is who our staff is picking on the moneyline, spread, and over/under for all six games of the NFL Wild Card round:
