In another sensational Cricket World Cup League 2 performance, USA secured their biggest win in ODI cricket by beating neighbouring rivals Canada by 169 runs in Lauderhill.

Batting first, the hosts posted their highest-ever ODI total, 361/3 in the first innings, before skittling Canada out for merely 192.

This win continues USA’s successful run in the Cricket World Cup League 2 in 2025, wherein they have won four games out of their five appearances thus far. This also included a record bowling performance against Oman, wherein the Americans defended a score of 122 - the lowest successfully defended total in men's ODIs.

The win against Canada keeps USA in second place in the Cricket World Cup League 2 2023-27 standings, with 24 points from 17 games, and they have a good chance to overtake the Netherlands (26 points from 20 games) and secure the top spot.
