The newly resurrected Multan Sultans have named Australia’s Ashton Turner as their captain for the upcoming 2026 Pakistan Super League (PSL 11) season.The franchise, formerly known as the Sialkot Stallionz, handed over leadership duties to the seasoned T20 campaigner known for his calm decision-making and aggressive middle-order batting.Ashton Turner arrives with a strong reputation in franchise cricket, having featured across major leagues and built a profile as a tactically sharp player in high-pressure situations. The Multan Sultans are banking on that experience to guide them through a demanding PSL season.The 32-year-old has also captained successfully in the Big Bash League (BBL), most notably with the Perth Scorchers, and is widely regarded as a strong dressing-room leader who can rally a squad and manage crunch moments with clarity.
