Bye."After hanging up, he told the police official, "Yeah, I was just talking with the President."A few days ago, Trump told The New York Post that he spoke to Woods after his DUI arrest in Florida, adding that the athlete "lives a life of pain" due to existing physical injuries, but was "doing great.""I have" talked with Woods, Trump said. "I think he’s doing great, he’s doing good," he added.Woods, 50, reportedly had two hydrocodone pills in his pocket when he flipped his Land Rover in Florida's Jupiter Island.Trump told the New York Post that Woods tested "negative for alcohol," but he is "under a tremendous physical pressure from his various ailments, you know, the back and the leg”.“He lives a life of pain. He is in a lot of pain. He’s an amazing guy. He’s an amazing athlete. He does have pain... He doesn’t have an alcohol problem, but he does have pain," he added.During investigation, it was revealed that Woods was likely under the influence of "some type of medication or drug" after he clipped a truck and then overturned his vehicle a few minutes away from his home.Police officials found two pills, marked as 'M367,' in Woods' left pant pocket when he crawled out of his Land Rover, the arrest report states. These medications have been determined to be hydrocodone, an opioid that is used to treat chronic pain.At the time of accident, Woods’ eyes were "bloodshot and glassy," while his pupils were "extremely dilated" in the immediate aftermath, the report stated.Moreover, Woods was "sweating profusely" and "had hiccups during the entire investigation". Also, his movements were "lethargic and slow," the report added.Wood had agreed to take a slew of field sobriety tests at the accident site and even confirmed having taken prescribed medication.
