Abbottabad secured an impressive eight-wicket victory over Multan in the third match of the National T20 Cup 2026 after successfully chasing a challenging 204-run target at the Imran Khan Cricket Stadium.Half-centuries from Kamran Ghulam and Shahzaib Khan played a key role in guiding the team to the win.After winning the toss and choosing to bat, Multan posted a strong total of 203/6 in their 20 overs. The innings was built around half-centuries from Moheer Saeed and Muhammad Shahzad.Moheer Saeed was the top scorer for Multan with a quick 76 off 41 deliveries, hitting eight fours and four sixes. Muhammad Shahzad remained unbeaten on 54 from 26 balls, striking four fours and four sixes.Wicketkeeper-batter Bismillah Khan also made a valuable contribution with 45 off 30 deliveries, which included six fours and a six.Among the bowlers, Shadab Khan delivered the best performance for Abbottabad, taking three wickets for 35 runs in his four overs. Shahab Khan and Razaullah each picked up one wicket.In response to the 204-run target, Abbottabad completed the chase with ease, losing just two wickets. The run chase was led by Kamran Ghulam and Shahzaib Khan, who both scored brisk half-centuries.Ghulam remained the top scorer for Abbottabad with an unbeaten 95 from 48 deliveries, which included seven fours and five sixes. Shahzaib Khan contributed 52 off 42 balls, hitting three fours and two sixes. The pair also shared a 79-run partnership for the second wicket, which proved crucial in keeping the chase on track.For Multan, Hasan Hafeez and Ali Majid managed to take one wicket each.Ghulam was named Player of the Match for his match-winning knock during the run chase.With the victory, Abbottabad moved to the top of the Group B standings in the National T20 Cup 2026, while Multan dropped to the bottom of the table.
