COLUMBIA – The No. 4 Texas A&M women's tennis team secured a 4-0 sweep over Missouri Sunday afternoon indoors at the Mizzou Tennis Complex.With the win, the Aggies improved to 11-2 on the season and remain unbeaten in conference play at 3-0.Texas A&M (11-2, 3-0) made quick work of Missouri in doubles, securing the opening point with wins on courts 2 and 3 to take the lead, 1-0. The Aggies opened doubles action on court 3, where Daria Smetannikov/Lexington Reed delivered a commanding 6-0 victory over Andrea Artimedia/Gian Octa. The Maroon & White followed on court 2 as Violeta Martinez/Ilinca Amariei defeated Zoe Lazar/Lara Quaglia, 6-2, to clinch the point. The match on court 1, featuring No. 15 Mia Kupres/Lucciana Perez and Alex Ackman/Korina Roso Webster was left unfinished.Singles play began on court 3 where Martinez extended the Aggies' lead, defeating Artimedia, 7-5, 6-1.
