South Africa wins toss, elects to bat.

It is a black soil wicket with a bit of grass on it, so the ball should come onto the bat pretty well. The experts expect a high-scoring contest today.

Aakash Chopra reckons the key battle today will be between Quinton de Kock and Arshdeep Singh in the PowerPlay. Chopra believes the true nature of the surface and the prodigious bounce on offer should help de Kock play his preferred pull shots. Sanjay Bangar believes a counterpoint by saying that Arshdeep’s hard lengths coupled with his left-armer’s angle could trouble the South African opener.
