Know India’s schedule and where to watch live streaming

India will kick off their campaign at the AFC Women’s Futsal Asian Cup 2025 Qualifiers against Hong Kong China in Yogyakarta, Indonesia on Wednesday.

The Indian futsal team head coach Joshuah Stan Vaz selected a 14-member squad for the qualifiers following the conclusion of a two-phase camp in Bhavnagar, Gujarat.

A total of 18 futsal teams have been divided into four groups with two groups of five teams and two groups of four each. Live streaming of the AFC Women’s Futsal Asian Cup 2025 Qualifiers will be available in India.

India have been drawn in Group B alongside Hong Kong China, Kyrgyz Republic and hosts Indonesia. The top two sides from the group as well as the best-ranked third-placed team from across four groups will advance to the AFC Women’s Futsal Asian Cup 2025 in May. India did not feature in the previous two editions.

Futsal is a small-sided football game mostly played indoors with only five players per side. The futsal pitch is also only about a third of the size of those used for outdoor football. Futsal matches consist of two periods of 20 minutes and the ball is heavier than traditional footballs and has far less bounce.

Twelve teams will participate in the third edition of the AFC Women’s Futsal Asian Cup 2025.

It is the first time that a qualifying campaign is taking place for the AFC Women’s Futsal Asian Cup and India, along with the 17 other teams in the qualifiers, are vying for one of the remaining nine berths at the AFC Women’s Futsal Asian Cup 2025.

The People’s Republic of China have qualified for the AFC Women’s Futsal Asian Cup 2025 as hosts while defending champions the Islamic Republic of Iran and Japan gained automatic qualification as they made it to the final of the previous edition in 2018.

Iran are the most successful team in AFC Women’s Futsal Asian Cup history having claimed the title twice in 2015 and 2018.

The third edition will be held from May 7 to May 18 in China. It will also act as a platform for qualifying for the inaugural 2025 FIFA Futsal Women's World Cup in the Philippines. The top three finishers at the AFC Women’s Futsal Asian Cup will secure berths at the inaugural FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup 2025.

Live streaming of AFC Women’s Futsal Asian Cup 2025 Qualifiers will be available on RCTI+. There is no live telecast of the tournament in India.
