There’s action from all four divisions of the football league plus the rearranged hurling fixture between Waterford and All-Ireland champions Tipperary up for decision today.

FULL-TIME: Roscommon 2-20 Donegal 0-20 That Conor Hand goal proved to be crucial in the end as Roscommon ride out the final minutes before the hooter sounds. A six-point win for Mark Dowd's men - and perhaps crucially, an outside chance at making the Division 1 final if other results go their way next weekend. Meanwhile, TG4 nominated Enda Smith for man of the match. The Boyle clubman seemed to have a hand in every attack for the Rossies and contributed 0-7 to their total. As for Donegal, they stay top of the division ahead of Kerry, who are also on 9 points, on the head-to-head rule.

NFL Div 4: Waterford 0-11 Antrim 4-18 (Result) Antrim keep their slim chances of promotion alive in a very competitive Division 4 by defeating a Waterford side yet to collect a point so far. Two more goals arrived in the second-half for the Saffrons via Ryan McQuillan and Adam Loughran.

NFL Div 3: Clare 2-17 Wexford 1-23 (Result) All over in Ennis and the Wexford footballers have done what their hurlers couldn't manage last weekend. Mark McInerney led the Clare comeback with a penalty goal and a pair of late two-pointers, but the Yellowbellies held on to take control of second-place in Division 3 as things stand - a win next weekend against fellow promotion-chasers Westmeath would secure Division 2 status.

Matt Carey and Dessie Reynolds cut the gap to Leitrim down before the break but Leitrim have a five-point cushion at the interval.

Eoin Darcy netted a second goal for the Garden County before half-time with further two-pointers coming from goalkeeper Mark Jackson.

The Faithful County lead by two at the break despite Cavan reeling off the last three points of the first-half through Tiarnan Madden, Oisin Brady and Peter Corrigan.

NFL Div 3:

Sligo 0-11 Down 0-10 (Half-time)

Sligo could maintain their Division 3 status for another year if they beat table-topping Down today - Alan McLoughlin's free before the interval has them in front by one.

Westmeath 2-06 Limerick 2-05 (Half-time)

Despite the concession of two early goals, Limerick have roared back with two of their own scored by Mark McCarthy and Peter Nash to leave it at a one-point game.

The introduction of Ruaidhri Fallon and Conor Hand make an instant impact for the Rossies as Hand gets a point with his first touch. That's followed up by an Enda Smith score and a close-range Diarmuid Murtagh free.

Waterford 1-17 Tipperary 1-09

Colm Keys brings his snap report on the first-half at Walsh Park

Waterford lead by 1-17 to 1-9 at half-time in their crunch Allianz Division 1A hurling league game - one they must win in Azzuri Walsh Park to avoid relegation.

It has been going well for the home side so far but they are backed by a very strong breeze. Still, Dessie Hutchinson has been in fine form with five points from play, despite being tracked by All-Star Robert Doyle.

Shane Bennett has been dynamic at half-back, scoring four points but also being involved in so much disruptive play at the other end. Tipperary did punish a short puck-out with a John McGrath goal in the 22nd minute and quickly followed up with a Jason Forde free to bring the deficit back to two points.

But almost instantly Sean Walsh grabbed a puck-out from Billy Nolan, bustled his way past Ronan Maher and finished in some style for the perfect response.

Waterford don't have Stephen Bennett as he continues to rehabilitate a hamstring injury picked up in the Galway game and are missing many frontline players but the response from a bad loss in Galway has been encouraging.

An eight-point lead will be difficult to protect however against a Tipperary team that has started with 11 of their All-Ireland winning team.

The travelling Donegal support has really lifted in the last few minutes as Jim McGuinness' side roars back into contention. Michael Langan had been quiet until kicking a two-pointer in one of their recent forays upfield, while Jason McGee and Conor O'Donnell have tagged on further scores.

TWO GOALS! Gavin Reynolds' goal for Leitrim gave them a healthy cushion until Longford struck for a goal of their own through Matt Carey minutes later.

TWO GOALS! Wicklow are in cruise control in with Padraig O'Toole and Eoin Darcy finding the back of the net in this opening half. Mark Jackson has converted a pair of two-pointers too.

Roscommon lead well at half-time with a final point from Colm Neary, meanwhile Donegal bagged a further two points through Gavin Mulreany's '45 and Michael Murphy from play. Jim McGuinness won't be happy but they will have the wind in the second-half.
