'My hard work in domestic cricket has paid off'

Pakistan's Sahibzada Farhan: "I have played four years of domestic cricket continuously. I don't think I've even missed a game in the last four years. My hard work in what I was doing in domestic cricket in Pakistan has paid off.

"The start on this wicket wasn't easy. I told my captain as well that we will play normal cricket and then play our game. I was confident that I can set a big target for the team if we got through the early stages.

"We lost a couple of wickets in quick succession. The idea was to build a partnership before I could take charge."

Depending on how they have truly come back from their performance against India, this result will give them a bit of confidence.

I don't think it will change their whole mindset though because they have to perform well against the top sides, like England, New Zealand and South Africa. They have a lot of big hurdles to climb in this tournament still.

It isn't going to be an easy road for Pakistan, even after this performance.

Pakistan win by 102 runs

Myburgh c Usman Khan b Usman Tariq 8 (Nam 97 all out)

Pakistan book their berth in the Super 8s of the T20 World Cup with a big win against Namibia.

They've done well to bounce back from that defeat by India and their spinners are definitely going to pose some threat when they come against some of the tournament favourites in the next stage.

I don't understand why the batters are trying to defend every ball when they need over 100 runs.

If they want to do that, they might as well play shots like these so Pakistan finish it off quickly...

WICKET

Green c Saim b Shadab 7 (Nam 95-8)

That's a brilliant catch from Saim Ayub at deep backward square.

He has to dive forward to scoop up the ball before it touched the ground and inevitably, there is a review to check if he has done it cleanly - he definitely has!

Zane Green departs for seven and Shadab Khan has his third wicket of the day.

This innings has been very slow for Namibia. They should just try and go for it now with just four overs remaining.

There is no point just totting your score up and getting those ones and twos now. You might as well get bowled over.

That's a beautiful delivery! The variation alone is so subtle.

Ruben Trumpelmann had absolutely no clue what was happening. He pulls a bit of a smile and a shake of the head before heading back to the pavillion.

Very, very well bowled from Pakistan.
