Before the official breakup news surfaced, Ramos hinted at the state of their relationship on social media. On March 6, she shared a series of photos on Instagram featuring her close friends at a bachelorette party in the Bahamas.

"I truly believe you can get through anything in life as long as you have really great friends. I love these girls so much," she wrote.

Two days later, TMZ reported that Prescott and Ramos had officially called off their engagement. According to sources, their relationship had been experiencing difficulties behind the scenes for several months. Tension reportedly ignited in a major argument during their joint bachelor and bachelorette celebrations in the Bahamas.

Following the incident, Ramos is said to have made the decision to end the engagement.

Ramos, who works as a wine and spirits specialist, only posted joyful moments with her friends during the trip and did not mention Prescott. The group attending the Bahamas getaway included several WAGs of Dallas Cowboys players, such as Jeanne Grier, wife of quarterback Will Grier, and Brandi Yvonne, girlfriend of safety Juanyeh Thomas.

The couple's romantic timeline moved quickly after they first went public with their relationship in 2023. Prescott proposed to Ramos in October 2024, shortly after signing a massive US$240 million contract extension with the Dallas Cowboys.

According to TMZ, their relationship is now considered beyond repair, and emails have already been sent to their guests canceling the wedding in April.

Both Prescott and Ramos are now expected to focus on co-parenting their two young daughters.

Prescott, 32, remains a central figure for the Dallas Cowboys. He played college football for the Mississippi State Bulldogs, where he was twice selected to the All-Southeastern Conference (All-SEC) team.

The Cowboys drafted Prescott in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft. While initially intended to serve as a backup during his rookie season, he quickly took over as the starting quarterback following an injury to veteran Tony Romo.

In a spectacular debut season, Prescott led the Cowboys to the number one seed in the NFC, shattered multiple records for a rookie, and earned the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year award. Throughout his career, he has guided Dallas to four division titles, earned four Pro Bowl selections, secured an All-Pro nod, and finished as the runner-up for the 2023 NFL MVP.
