The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced that 25 national cricketers will participate in a women’s skills and fitness camp at the Ghani Glass Cricket Ground from April 16 to 23.

The camp includes Pakistan’s first-choice players who have featured in recent international matches, along with six uncapped players: Amber Kainat, Eman Naseer, Komal Khan, Maham Anees, Momina Riasat, and Saira Jabeen.

According to the PCB, players were selected based on their performances in international cricket and in the recently concluded National Women’s T20 Tournament. The training will be conducted by the national team’s support staff under the leadership of team mentor Wahab Riaz.

“The players have been selected based on their recent international performances, as well as their performances in the recently concluded National Women’s T20 Tournament,” the PCB said in a statement.

The camp is aimed at preparing the team for their upcoming home white-ball series against Zimbabwe next month. The series will begin with a three-match ODI leg scheduled from May 4 to 9, followed by a three-match T20I series from May 12 to 15. All matches will be played at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi.
