Jordan is the little sister of Hayden, who was born in July 2023.

Former Australian tennis star and Barty's doubles partner Casey Dellacqua said she could not wait to meet Jordan.

"Hi gorgeous Jordan," Dellacqua posted.

"Can't wait to cuddle you soon. Good job mum and dad."

Beach volleyball gold medallist Natalie Cook said her own daughter, Jordan, would be "beside herself" with the choice of name.

Barty shocked the tennis world when she revealed she was retiring from the sport in March 2022.

She said she wanted to give back to the community and spend more time with her family.

Barty reached the pinnacle of world tennis as number one during a decorated career on the WTA tour.

She won three grand slam victories — the 2019 French Open, 2021 Wimbledon and the 2022 Australian Open.
