Nick Kyrgios has officially ruled himself out of the 2025 Wimbledon Grand Slam tennis tournament after suffering another injury setback. The 30-year-old Australian confirmed via social media on Monday (June 2) that a recurring knee issue has disrupted his recovery, ending hopes of a return during the grass court tournament season, which is traditionally his strongest surface. The 2022 Wimbledon finalist, who worked as a commentator for last year's event, had already withdrawn from the ongoing 2025 French Open due to the same knee injury and has struggled with wrist problems in recent years.“Unfortunately, I won’t make it back for grass season this year,” Kyrgios shared in an Instagram story. “This is just a bump in the road... I’m already working hard to get back stronger.”
