Manchester City star Jack Grealish paid a visit to a social club after the team's 3-1 win over Plymouth in the FA Cup this weekend - and reportedly put a generous sum behind the bar for the regulars.Grealish joined the club for a British-record of £100million in 2021 but after starring in City's treble-winning season in 2022-23, he has since fallen down the pecking order under boss Pep Guardiola. The 29-year-old has only started six Premier League games under the Spaniard this term, with his latest appearance being the win over Championship side Plymouth on Saturday - in which he played the full 90 minutes. And the day after that game, Grealish decide to visit the North Biddick Social Club, located in the North East of England in Washington, near Sunderland, where pints can go for as cheap as £2.94.Pub goers were stunned by Grealish's arrival at their club as they snapped a few pictures of the England international sitting and enjoying some drinks while getting to know some of the regulars.Grealish was dressed casually in a grey hoodie, jeans and white trainers as he was spotted chatting with people inside the club and enjoying a beer. One fan on social media was delighted by Grealish's appearance as he wrote: "He's just a regular guy like us!"Another claimed Grealish generously put £500 behind the bar to make sure everyone in the building could have a few drinks on him. Earlier in the day, after another supporter posted a photo of Grealish visiting the Lord Nelson pub in Manchester to watch Newcastle vs Brighton.Grealish is said to be on an eight-man shortlist of City players Guardiola is willing to offload this summer, alongside Kevin de Bruyne, Ilkay Gundogan and Mateo Kovacic - but the Spaniard challenged him to keep working hard to win his place in the team last month."Jack has this sense of the street," Guardiola said. "He is a player of the street. Today most of the players, for a manager, are academic - 'you have to do this or that'. Jack is a fighter. He is there to fight in the stadiums when the people shout."He didn't play the last games, mainly because Savinho on the left side had an incredible connection with Erling (Haaland) but the season is still open. But against [Leyton] Orient I saw the glimpse that he is going to rebel, to show the manager how wrong he is. I love that."Join our new WhatsApp community and receive your daily dose of Mirror Football content.
