A change up front for Serbia as former Newcastle and Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic, who was presented with an award before the game after reaching 100 international appearances, comes on for Dusan Vlahovic.

All credit to the England defence, on course for their fifth successive clean sheet in this qualifying campaign, for keeping the dangerous Vlahovic relatively quiet.

The England fans are delighted. England have picked up where they left off in the first half.

A quick short free-kick played into Anthony Gordon. It is a difficult one for Dorde Petrovic to deal with and all he can do is push it into a crowd of England players.

There is Ezri Konsa with his left foot.

Anthony Gordon takes a shot, it is parried by the goalkeeper Dorde Petrovic, Marc Guehi gets there first and, under pressure, sends it sideways and Ezri Konsa is there at the back post to slam the loose ball into the net.

There was a brief check for offside, but not given and England are three up.

By the way, Serbia made a double substitution at the break, bringing on Luka Jovic and Filip Kostic.

These two could be a handful as AEK Athens striker Jovic has played for both Real Madrid and AC Milan, while Kostic is at Juventus.

Veljko Birmancevic and Kosta Nedeljkovic are the two to have been taken out of action.

A strong challenge from Serbia captain Nikola Milenkovic, sliding in and then landing on top of Nottingham Forest team-mate Elliot Anderson.

New Forest boss Ange Postecoglou could do without one of his best players injuring another one of them. Anderson gets to his feet a bit gingerly but is OK to carry on for now.

We've just seen television footage of two incidents in that first half when a green laser has been shone on to the pitch.

One when England were just about to take a free-kick and a second time when defender Ezri Konsa had the ball. That second incident was the one that caused the referee to come to the side of the pitch to notify everyone, with a stadium announcement that soon followed, presumably to tell the home fans to stop.
