Liverpool have just over a week to go before the summer transfer window closes, and there is every chance more deals could be completed. The Reds have made eight signings so far this summer and could add to that before the September 1 deadline.

Alexander Isak stance

An update has emerged about Alexander Isak's apparent desire to join Liverpool.

According to Caught Offside, Isak is "pushing hard" to secure a move to Anfield before the transfer window closes.

The update comes after Isak posted a lengthy statement on social media on Tuesday night in response to the ongoing speculation around his future.

Liverpool are said to be in "pole position" to sign Isak this summer after months of rumours around the Sweden international's future.

Harvey Elliott plan

RB Leipzig are reportedly still showing an interest in signing Harvey Elliott from Liverpool.

Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg has claimed that Leipzig have identified Elliott as a top target this summer, as they look to replace Xavi Simons, who is increasingly likely to join Chelsea.

Elliott is reported to have already agreed terms on a move to Leipzig, with Liverpool still needing to agree a fee with the Bundesliga outfit.
