Tennis star Aryna Sabalenka gets engaged to partner Georgios and shows off amazing diamond ring after romantic proposal

ARYNA SABALENKA is engaged after partner Georgios Frangulis presented her with a whopping great diamond ring.

Multi-millionaire Frangulis, 37, got down on one knee and popped the question to tennis ace Sabalenka, 27, on Tuesday.

The loved-up couple were surrounded by flowers and candles as they kissed in a heartfelt moment captured on video and posted to Instagram.

Sabalenka captioned the footage “You & me, forever” along with infinity, wedding ring and white heart emojis.

Tennis stars Novak Djokovic and Ben Shelton were among those to offer their congratulations in the comments.

Frangulis, who has been seeing Sabalenka since early 2024, founded superfood brand Oakberry and has an estimated net worth of £80MILLION.

That fortune is multiple times greater than that of his four-time Grand Slam champion and world No1 fiancee.

And he has the hardware to prove it – bestowing Sabalenka with a glistening diamond almost wider than her ring finger.

The Belarusian was beaming in the video after dropping public hints for months.

At the Brisbane International Tournament in January she said: “Thank you to my boyfriend.

“Hopefully soon I will call you [something] else, right? I just put on extra pressure, right?”

And after watching a proposal in the stands at last year’s US Open, Sabalenka joked: “I looked at my boyfriend. No pressure.”

Frangulis studied law before finding success in the business world.

He is also handy behind the wheel, having driven over 100 races in Brazil’s Portsche 911 GT3 Cup competition.

His brand forged an endorsement partnership with the Haas F1 team, and Sabalenka herself has played a part in its success by launching her own Oakberry acai bowl.

Sabalenka going public with her and Frangulis’ relationship came two months after the sudden death of her ex-boyfriend Konstantin Koltsov, who fell off a balcony in what police called “an apparent suicide”.

Former ice hockey star Koltsov was 17 years older than Sabalenka and the pair spent three years together – but were separated at the time of his death.

Sabalenka credits Koltsov for helping her cope with the death of her father, and admits she found her ex’s passing “really emotional and really stressful”.
