Manchester United goalkeeper 'plan' becomes clear amid Rasmus Hojlund transfer 'update'The latest Manchester United transfer news and gossip including updates on Senne Lammens and Rasmus HojlundRasmus Hojlund is expected to leave Man United (Image: PA)Manchester United have just six days to complete any more deals in this summer transfer window before the 7pm deadline on September 1.Four players - Benjamin Sesko, Bryan Mbeumo, Matheus Cunha, and Diego Leon - were brought in to strengthen the squad. Only one of the five players who expressed a desire to explore their options has departed. That was Marcus Rashford, who completed a loan move to Barcelona, while Antony, Tyrell Malacia, Jadon Sancho, and Alejandro Garnacho are yet to resolve their futures. As players continue to be linked with a move to and from Old Trafford, MEN Sport has taken a look at the latest transfer rumours.Lammens 'latest'United's anticipated signing of Royal Antwerp goalkeeper Senne Lammens is expected to trigger the sale of one of their current goalkeepers before the transfer window closes, according to Football Insider. The report states that either Andre Onana or Altay Bayindir could be leaving, while Tom Heaton is expected to remain at the club as the third-choice goalkeeper. On the Reds' interest, former Tottenham Hotspur striker Vincent Janssen, who is said to have a good relationship with Senne Lammens, offered an insight into the goalkeeper to Het Laatste Nieuws. He said: "Senne is one of the few guys who really doesn't say much about such things. We read more in the media than we hear from Senne himself."He's very calm about it. Well, wherever he signs, he'll definitely be able to make a fantastic move. He deserves it. Senne has already proven he can handle a step up."MEN Sport says: Inevitably, bringing in a new goalkeeper creates uncertainty for the existing options, particularly when both Bayindir and Onana have struggled to consistently perform. The arrival of fresh competition could push one of them out, as the club seeks a more reliable presence between the sticks and looks to strengthen a position that has been far from convincing this season. It remains unclear which goalkeeper will depart should the deal for Lammens be completed.Hojlund 'closing in on exit'Fabrizio Romano is reporting that negotiations between United and Napoli for Rasmus Hojlund are at the 'final stages.'He claims a deal will initially be on a loan basis and the Serie A side will have an option that could become mandatory. Napoli are believed to be in talks with Hojlund over personal terms.MEN Sport says: It’s good to see some clarity finally emerging for Hojlund. Although he had expressed a willingness to fight for his place under Amorim, the arrival of Sesko made it clear that regular playing time would be hard to come by. A loan move is therefore a sensible decision, giving Hojlund the chance to gain valuable minutes, continue his development, and build confidence away from the pressure of competing for limited opportunities at the club. This could be the perfect opportunity for him to return stronger and more prepared for top-level football.---Here at The Manchester Evening News, we are dedicated to bringing you the best Manchester United coverage and analysis.Make sure you don't miss out on the latest United news by joining our free WhatsApp group.
