Watch El Clasico on live streaming and telecast in India

Indian football fans will be in for a nostalgic treat as legends from Real Madrid and FC Barcelona gear up for a special El Clasico clash at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on Sunday.

Titled the Legends Face Off, the exhibition football match marks the first time former stars from the two Spanish clubs face each other in India.

The Real Madrid vs Barcelona legends match in Navi Mumbai will start at 7:00 PM Indian Standard Time (IST) and will be available on live streaming and telecast in India.

Barcelona will be led by iconic centre-back Carles Puyol while Real Madrid’s armband will be worn by the legendary Luis Figo.

The 46-year-old Puyol, a member of Spain’s silver medal-winning team at the Sydney 2000 Olympics and 2010 FIFA World Cup champions, is set to reunite with former Spanish team-mate Xavi, along with Brazilian great Rivaldo in the line-up.

The 52-year-old Figo, the 2000 Ballon d’Or winner who donned both clubs' jerseys during his career, will have the likes of Michael Owen - another Ballon d’Or recipient - and Fernando Morientes for company in the Real Madrid squad.

While Real Madrid legends are playing in India for the first time, Barcelona’s former stars have played here once before, defeating Mohun Bagan 6-0 at Kolkata’s Salt Lake Stadium in 2018. That day, goals came from Javier Saviola, Roger Garcia, Pedro Landi, Jari Litmanen and Jofre Mateu.
