Special safety measures in place as National T20 Cricket Tournament begins in Peshawar

Special emergency and medical arrangements have been put in place for the National T20 Cricket Tournament, which begins today (March 7) at the Imran Khan Cricket Stadium Peshawer and will continue until March 18.

According to a spokesperson for Rescue 1122, all preparations for the matches have been finalised to ensure the safety of players, officials and cricket fans attending the event.

On the opening day of the tournament, the emergency arrangements were implemented on the instructions of District Emergency Officer Iftikhar Khan.

Special teams of Rescue 1122 personnel have been deployed to provide immediate assistance in case of any emergency.

Rescue officials have been stationed inside the stadium for the first match and will remain present on the ground alongside players to provide prompt medical aid if required.
