Know where to watch WBBL 11 on live streaming and telecast in India

Fresh off her Women’s ODI World Cup heroics for India, Jemimah Rodrigues will be in action at the Women’s Big Bash League 2025-26 cricket tournament, which starts from Sunday.

The WBBL is the premier franchise-based T20 cricket tournament for women in Australia. The upcoming edition will mark the competition’s 11th season.

All WBBL 2025 matches will be available to watch on live streaming and live telecast in India.

Jemimah Rodrigues is the lone Indian cricketer set to return for the upcoming edition of the WBBL after being retained by Brisbane Heat in the WBBL draft.

Rodrigues has also represented Melbourne Renegades and Melbourne Stars previously in the franchise T20 cricket tournament Down Under.

Brisbane Heat will also be in action in the first match of WBBL 2025 against defending champions Melbourne Renegades.

However, Deepti Sharma, Player of the Tournament at the Women’s ODI World Cup, will not feature in the new WBBL season. She was a part of the Melbourne Stars last season.

Indian talisman Smriti Mandhana, who represented Adelaide Strikers last season, did not nominate herself for this season's draft.

WBBL 2025 will feature eight teams - Adelaide Strikers, Brisbane Heat, Melbourne Stars, Melbourne Renegades, Perth Scorchers, Sydney Thunder, Sydney Sixers and Hobart Hurricanes.

Each team will face the others at least once and will play a total of 10 matches in the league stage. The top four teams after the league phase’s conclusion will progress to the knockout stage.

In the knockout phase, the top-placed team from the league stage directly advances to the final, while the third and fourth-placed teams face each other in the eliminator.

The winner of the eliminator plays the league stage’s second-placed team in the challenger round for the second berth in the final, which is scheduled for December 13.

Melbourne Renegades, who won their maiden WBBL title last season after defeating Brisbane Heat in the final, are the defending champions.

Sydney Sixers, Adelaide Strikers, Brisbane Heat and Sydney Thunder have won the title twice each, while Perth Scorchers have also been WBBL champions in the past.

Live streaming of WBBL 2025 cricket matches will be available on the JioHotstar app and website in India. The Women’s Big Bash League will be telecast live on the Star Sports Network TV channels in India.
