Footage obtained by the Post showed Portuguese Ronaldo and his colleagues being put through their paces at the sun-drenched Tseung Kwan O venue on Saturday morning.

Al-Nassr, who have been trumpeting the signing of Champions League winner Kingsley Coman, posted videos on their social media accounts of their players, including ex-Manchester United and Real Madrid star Ronaldo, training at the same location on Friday.

The 40-year-old Ronaldo arrived in the city with his club amid plenty of fanfare on Thursday. Hours after checking into the Regent Hong Kong hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui, Al-Nassr had a sodden introduction to the city as Tropical Storm Podul raged while they trained in Kowloon Tong.

Al-Nassr, third in last season’s Saudi Pro League, will face champions Al-Ittihad in their Super Cup semi-final at Hong Kong Stadium on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, on Friday, the club learned they had been drawn in a group with Iraqi club Al-Zawraa, Istiklol from Tajikistan and Indian sides FC Goa for their AFC Champions League 2 campaign.
