Openers Jamie Smith (64 off just 28) and Ben Duckett (58 off 46) scored their respective half-centuries, Joe Root (44) played a fine knock, and Jos Buttler (41 off 20) finished the match.

Meanwhile, the West Indies would turn their focus to the T20I series after a horrible performance in the ODI leg. Shai Hope, who captained the side in the 50-over format, will be captaining the side in his first T20I series after Rovman Powell was removed from the T20I captaincy.

Harry Brook led England to their first ODI series victory at home, and he would look to repeat the same performance in the T20I leg as well. England has retained most of their players for the T20I series. Phil Salt, who was in India for the Indian Premier League final, has been ruled out of the the squad for the three-match series as he is on paternity leave. The other wicketkeeper that has been included is Tom Banton; Jamie Smith, who performed in the last ODI match, has replaced Salt.

The 35-year-old spin bowling allrounder Liam Dawson has been included in the squad. The other pace bowling all-rounder, Jamie Overton, is set to miss the series after he suffered a finger injury in the first ODI match, allowing Matthew Potts to get a chance in the starting XI.

The home team will be without key pacers Jofra Archer and Mark Wood, who have been ruled out with injury. Luke Wood was added as a replacement for Archer. Adil Rashid has been included as the single full-time spinner in the squad, and his experience in the English conditions provides much-needed help for England.

Brandon King and Johnson Charles will take the charge as the opening pair, whereas skipper Shai Hope, alongside Shimron Hetmyer, Evin Lewis, Sherfane Rutherford, and Roston Chase, will handle the middle-order responsibilities. Romario Shepherd will join the squad for the T20I leg after completing the IPL tournament on Tuesday.

The pace bowling unit features Alzarri Joseph and Matthew Forde as the full-time pacers apart from Holder. Along with them, the squad also features two spinners, Akeal Hossein and Gudakesh Motie.
