LAHORE: Former New Zealand captain and veteran batter Kane Williamson has officially joined the Karachi Kings squad for the ongoing HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL 10). The seasoned cricketer, who was picked in the supplementary category during the PSL 10 draft, arrived in Lahore on Thursday and checked into the team hotel upon arrival.

Williamson is set to participate in the team’s training session later today at the Lahore City Cricket Association (LCCA) ground as he gears up for Karachi Kings’ upcoming match against Quetta Gladiators, scheduled for Friday, April 25.

After their clash with Quetta Gladiators, Karachi Kings will face Multan Sultans on May 1. They are set for an intense showdown with arch-rivals Lahore Qalandars on May 4, followed by matches against Peshawar Zalmi on May 8 and defending champions Islamabad United on May 10, concluding their group stage campaign.

Led by Australia’s David Warner, Karachi Kings have been in strong form, winning three out of their five matches so far in PSL 10. Their latest victory came in a nail-biting encounter against Peshawar Zalmi on April 22, where they secured a two-wicket win in the last over at the National Stadium.
