After being on the road over the weekend, IUP returned to the Maple Street Courts to take on California (Pa.) in a pivotal conference matchup. The Hawks defeated the Vulcans, 6-1 Monday afternoon.IUP's overall record is 13-6 and are 5-0 in conference action, while they have extended their win streak to eight matches.IUP began the match winning the doubles points with wins in all three spots.and(No. 1) and Lieselotte Hartlohner and(No. 2) both won with set scores of 6-2. Hartlohener fought hard but fell in the first set 6-7 (6-8).
