Federer joins Forbes' World's Billionaire's List

Former World No. 1 is one of a handful of sports stars on the list

Roger Federer has added another milestone to his remarkable legacy but this time it is off the court. The 103-time tour-level champion has officially joined the prestigious Forbes World’s Billionaires List, highlighting the immense success he has achieved beyond tennis.

Federer appears on the 2026 ranking after building an estimated fortune of around $1.1 billion, becoming one of the few athletes in history to reach billionaire status through a mix of sporting success, endorsements and business ventures. The annual list tracks the world’s wealthiest individuals and can be viewed here: Forbes World’s Billionaires List.

Federer joins a small group of athletes who have crossed the billion-dollar mark, including LeBron James and Tiger Woods. His appearance on the list also reflects a growing trend of athletes building significant wealth through entrepreneurship and business investments alongside their playing careers.

On court, Federer’s résumé remains among the most decorated. The 44-year-old won 20 major titles, spent 310 weeks at No. 1 in the PIF ATP Rankings, including a record 237 consecutively. He also lifted 28 ATP Masters 1000 crowns and triumphed at the Nitto ATP Finals six times.
