Day two of the 2026 Australian Open, on Monday, 19 January, sees top seeds step onto the court as the tournament gathers momentum at Melbourne Park.

The day’s action opens with world No. 3 Coco Gauff, who begins her campaign against Kamilla Rakhimova.

Soon after, Australian home favourite Alex de Minaur takes the stage, backed by a crowd that has watched him advance into the second week in Melbourne in two of the last three years.

The evening session brings more star power. World No. 2 Iga Swiatek continues her pursuit of the one major WTA title still missing from her collection.

She is followed by Novak Djokovic, the reigning Olympic champion and ten-time Australian Open winner, who will face Pedro Martínez on a court where he has built one of the most dominant records in Grand Slam history.

Across the rest of the grounds, Jessica Pegula, Daniil Medvedev, Amanda Anisimova, Casper Ruud, and Felix Auger-Aliassime are all opening their tournaments.

Here's the full order of play, from the main arenas to the outside courts.
