The new season of the Pakistan Super league (PSL) is all set to kickstart on March 26, Thursday. In an influx of T20 leagues around the world, PSL will also have its fair share of uncapped players to watch out for as they try to use the star-studded tournament as a springboard to come into the national team.

Here are the 5 uncapped players to watch out for in PSL 2026

5) Abdullah Fazal – Rawalpindi Pindiz

Abdullah Fazal was signed by Rawalpindi Pindiz in the high-profile auction as the franchise shelled out an enormous PKR 67.5 lakh. The 23-year-old has pressed a case for himself to be the next big thing in Pakistan cricket. The semi-final of National T20 Cup 2025-26 saw the opener hammer 88 off 41 deliveries, laced with six fours and seven sixes to help the Karachi Region Whites ace a run-chase of 166 only in 15.1 overs.

4) Farhan Yousaf – Peshawar Zalmi

Yousaf had notably captained Pakistan in the U19 World Cup and performed well for Lahore Whites in the National T20 Cup 2025-26. In four matches, the teenage prodigy has clubbed 143 runs, averaging 143 with a best of 61*. The most striking thing is the 19-year-old’s strike rate which stood at 188.15. Yousaf’s unbeaten 61 also came against Peshawar Region when he came to the crease at 48/3 in pursuit of 168 and will go on to play for Peshawar Zalmi in PSL 2026.

3) Ubaid Shah – Lahore Qalandars

The younger brother of Pakistan’s tearaway pacer Naseem Shah, the 20-year-old will be playing in his third PSL season and has snared 12 wickets in 11 matches in the tournament history. The right-arm pacer will ply his trade for the Lahore Qalandars, who shelled out PKR 2.7 crore and was massively in demand. In 28 T20s, the youngster has snaffled 29 wickets but averages 28.31. Ubaid will be keen to make an impression this season.

2) Ali Raza – Peshawar Zalmi

Ali Raza was retained by the Peshawar Zalmi for a price as high as PKR 1.96 crore, showcasing himself as a marquee talent. Raza also has experience playing in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), snaring 12 scalps in nine matches in the 2025 edition. With 13 scalps in five games during the U19 World Cup at 13.92 apiece, the 18-year-old emerged as the fourth-highest wicket-taker of the tournament.

1) Sameer Minhas – Islamabad United

One of the most exciting young batters the country has produced, Islamabad United shelled out PKR 1.9 crore on Sameer Minhas in the auction. Minhas announced himself to the fraternity in the ACC U19 Asia Cup 2025, amassing 471 runs in five matches, averaging a jaw-dropping 157 alongside a strike rate of 117.46.
