Olly Murs will reappear in a star-studded football charity match.

Making his return for the Soccer Aid for UNICEF event, Murs will once again showcase his football skills alongside other celebrities and sporting legends.

Joining this high-profile roster are football stars Wayne Rooney, Jill Scott, Jermain Defoe, and Theo Walcott.

Other personalities lined up for the match include Tom Hiddleston, Robbie Williams, Owen Cooper, Damon Idris, and Angry Ginge.

The impending match is set to take place at the London Stadium marking the 20th anniversary of the event.

Expected to provide stiff competition is the World XI squad, brimming with globally acclaimed footballers Jordi Alba, Leonardo Bonucci, Jen Beattie, and Edwin Van Der Sar.

Usain Bolt, utilising his Soccer Aid experience, will be part of the coaching squad.

Graham Gilmore, chief executive of the London Stadium, expressed excitement over the match, particularly with the return of Usain Bolt.

He said: “We are delighted to welcome back Soccer Aid for UNICEF to London Stadium for the 20th anniversary this summer.

“We are looking forward to playing our part in putting on a spectacle for the fans, with an incredible list of ex-players and celebrities due to take part.

“I am sure memories of London 2012 will come flooding back when Usain Bolt returns to the stadium once more, the scene of his three Olympic golds.

“Most importantly, we are committed to raising funds for UNICEF and supporting the organisation’s life-changing work for children globally.

Soccer Aid is an annual charity match raising funds for UNICEF, showcasing celebrities and former professional footballers.

Soccer Aid was created in 2006 by Robbie Williams and Jonathan Wilkes to support UNICEF UK, aiming to help children worldwide grow up safe, healthy, and able to play.
