Reported Manchester United target Benjamin Sesko has dropped a huge hint that could now be staying at RB Leipzig this summer. The 22-year-old's long-term future is uncertain after another impressive season in Germany. He ended the campaign on 21 goals and six assists in 45 appearances.

Arsenal looked to have moved to the front of the queue last month and made Sesko their first-choice No.9 target. However, the Gunners have since accelerated a move for Viktor Gyokeres instead, with the Sporting CP man closing in on a £63.8million switch to north London, having agreed a five-year contract.

That has left the door open for others, including United, to swoop in and pursue Sesko. According to a report from TBR Football on Wednesday afternoon, intermediaries have offered United, Chelsea and Liverpool the chance to sign the former Red Bull Salzburg man in a deal worth around £60m.

At this stage, it's unclear whether United are going to take up that reported offer. The Manchester Evening News understands the forward rejected a move to Old Trafford in 2022 - with his agent paying multiple visits to Old Trafford and Carrington since.

But Sesko has now dropped the biggest hint yet that he could remain at Leipzig for the coming campaign and beyond. In an Instagram story, Sesko posted two images of him wearing Leipzig's brand new 2025/26 kit and posing with the No.30 shirt on the back. He captioned the post: "Getting some [flashing camera emoji] for new season."

As he features in Leipzig's new kit launch and is more than open to promoting that on his personal social media, it's a big suggestion that he is going to remain at the Red Bull club this summer.

Sesko's Leipzig future was the subject of much debate this time in 2024, but he ended that after signing a new five-year contract. Since, he has continued to excel in the Bundesliga and establish himself as one of the best strikers in Europe. He found the net against Bayern Munich twice last season.

Speaking about his future back in May, Sesko said: "The club has given me a lot and continues to give me a lot every day. It's a great club to develop at. I'm currently a player for RB Leipzig, so I'm taking it day by day. If a transfer happens, and if it doesn’t, then it doesn't."
