Adelaide has made three changes to its side ahead of its Round 24 clash against North Melbourne at Marvel Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Veteran defender Rory Laird returns to the line-up after missing last weekend’s game due to suspension, while young midfielder Sid Draper also comes into the side - for the first time since Round 12.

“It is a credit to Sid that he returns to the team after continuing to build strong form in the SANFL,” Adelaide Head of Football Adam Kelly said.

“Sid is an exciting talent and has shown great maturity for a young player, working hard on all areas of his game and displaying real commitment to his development.

“His return to the side is well deserved and we’re confident he will have a real impact at AFL level.”

Utility Billy Dowling will feature in his first AFL game of 2025, following standout performances with the Crows’ SANFL side.

“Billy gets his opportunity after a strong SANFL season and a number of dominant performances in recent weeks,” Kelly said.

“His hard work and commitment have been outstanding, and this selection is a genuine reward for consistency and effort.

“He has shown great flexibility in several roles and we look forward to seeing him at AFL level this week.”

Lachlan Murphy and Harry Schoenberg have been omitted, while Izak Rankine will miss the game due to suspension.

Murphy moves onto the emergency list, alongside Chris Burgess and Luke Nankervis.

The Crows will name their substitute one hour before the first bounce.

Adelaide takes on North Melbourne at Marvel Stadium on Saturday at 12.50pm (ACST).

The match will be broadcast live on Channel 7 Adelaide, Kayo and Fox Footy
