FC Seoul have been eliminated in the top Asian club football tournament, leaving no South Korean side in the annual event.FC Seoul lost to Vissel Kobe of Japan 2-1 in the second leg of their round of 16 matchup at the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Champions League Elite at Kobe City Misaki Park Stadium in Kobe, Japan, on Wednesday. Vissel Kobe, the 1-0 winners in Seoul last week, advanced to the quarterfinals on a 3-1 aggregate.FC Seoul's exit means there will be no K League club the rest of the way in the top AFC club tournament. Gangwon FC lost to Machida Zelvia of Japan on a 1-0 aggregate in the round of 16, while one other K League club, Ulsan HD FC, didn't make it out of the league stage.Patryk Klimala scored for FC Seoul in the 20th minute to level the aggregate score at 1-1, but Vissel Kobe netted two goals in the second half.Yuya Osako's right-footed shot from the left side of the six-yard box in the 78th minute tied the score for the match and put Vissel Kobe up 2-1 on aggregate. Then Yosuke Ideguchi scored the dagger in the 89th minute off his left foot.Vissel Kobe had 18 shot attempts and five shots on target, while FC Seoul made nine shot attempts and put three shots on target.
