Nicolas Mahut Bids Emotional Adieu to a Storied Tennis Career

French tennis icon Nicolas Mahut has officially retired from professional tennis following a heartfelt farewell at the Paris Masters. During his illustrious 25-year career, Mahut claimed five Grand Slam doubles titles and etched his name into tennis history by contesting the longest-ever match against John Isner in 2010.

Mahut's farewell match took place on home soil, where he, alongside partner Grigor Dimitrov, faced Hugo Nys and Edouard Roger-Vasselin. Despite their 6-4, 5-7, 10-4 defeat, Mahut cherished the opportunity to end his career in front of a home crowd, reflecting on his achievements and experiences with nostalgia.
