GAA: Follow all today’s football and hurling action as it happens

Good afternoon and welcome to another Independent.ie live blog covering all the action from the Gaelic Football and Hurling Provincial Championships. My name is Ultán Corcoran, and I will be keeping you up to speed with events around the country.

We have seven games in total today – four in football spanning across the respective Ulster, Connacht and Munster championships. We also have three games from the first round of the Leinster Hurling Championship round robin.

In terms of televised coverage, you can take your pick from the clash of Leinster heavyweights Kilkenny and Galway over on RTE1 and the RTE Player from 3.45pm, or Fermanagh-Down on BBC 2 and the BBC iPlayer from 4pm. Alternatively, Leitrim-Mayo (4.30pm) and Cork-Kerry (7pm) can be viewed via a GAA+ one-off payment or subscription.
