Man United trio drop Ruben Amorim team news hint before Lyon Europa League clash

Latest Manchester United news and gossip as Ruben Amorim's side prepare to face Lyon in the Europa League quarter-final second leg

Manchester United are busy preparing for one of the most important matches of their season ahead of tonight's Europa League quarter-final second leg clash with Lyon.

United go into the tie with the scoreline 2-2 after the first leg draw in France last week. Leny Yoro and Joshua Zirkzee scored for Ruben Amorim's side at the Groupama Stadium in the first leg, and will be looking to claim a win to reach the semi-final.

The Reds thought they'd secured a vital first leg advantage before a mistake from Andre Onana gifted Rayan Cherki a late equaliser. The Cameroonian goalkeeper was absent just four days ago from United's squad in the 4-1 defeat to Newcastle in the Premier League.

Amorim made a number of changes to the United team for the loss at St James' Park, and now several members of the squad have dropped hints about the team selection for the clash at Old Trafford tonight.

A regular tradition that has emerged in football is for players to post pre-match graphics on social media on the day of a match. In the hours leading up to the Europa League tie against Lyon, three United players have posted on Instagram.

Casemiro, Leny Yoro and Diogo Dalot have all posted pre-match graphics on their Instagram stories ahead of the second leg.

While it's never a guarantee of what team Amorim will pick, it does offer a hint that the trio could all start against the Ligue 1 club.

Yoro and Dalot both started and played the full 90 minutes in United's defeat to Newcastle at the weekend, while Casemiro was an unused substitute.

It remains to be seen what team Amorim will select for the quarter-final tie, with a place in the semi-final against either Athletic Bilbao or Rangers up for grabs.
