The Rafa Nadal Museum in Manacor has unveiled a new space dedicated to Rafael Nadal's untouchable success at Roland Garros.

The space contains the Spaniard's record 14 Coupe des Mousquetaires as well as the racquets Nadal played with in Paris and the Nike bandanas he wore during the years he was crowned champion in the French capital.

Visitors will also be able to view a stunning montage of images of Nadal lifting the trophies, as well as an infographic that highlights some of the Spaniard’s most incredible stats on the Paris clay. Another big attraction in the new space is the replica of the sculpture Roland Garros dedicated to Nadal, which the French Tennis Federation and tournament director Amelie Mauresmo recently presented to Rafa, who will be the subject of a homage in Paris on 25 May.

Fans visiting the Rafa Nadal Museum will also be able to get a close look at the spectacular life-size sculpture of Rafa Nadal celebrating on his knees in the new space. The iconic piece, created by Nike in 2014 and weighing 150 kg, was on display at Nike Europe’s central headquarters and is now in Manacor for the first time.

The space is complemented with four screens with emotional audiovisual content dedicated to Nadal’s achievements at the clay-court major. Because it is the small details that make the difference, 112 tennis balls are included in the exhibition to represent the Spaniard’s 112 wins at Roland Garros.

The newly dedicated Roland Garros zone of the Rafa Nadal Museum is now open to the public. Paris will also be paying tribute to Nadal at the tournament this year with an exhibition that covers each of his 14 triumphs.

Another chapter of Nadal’s relationship with France came last summer when he was chosen to carry the Olympic torch at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympic Games. The torch, his medals, and other Olympic mementos are on display in a new area of the museum. Other recent additions include the final racquet bag of Nadal’s career, as well as the shirts worn by Carlos Alcaraz and Rafa himself when they played together in the Olympic doubles.

The Rafa Nadal Museum offers numerous opportunities for digital and interactive sports-connected activities to participate in as an individual or as a family. Visitors can participate in games and immersive activities for all ages. A large variety of sports (tennis, football, Formula 1, basketball, cycling, etc.) played in state-of-the-art surroundings and fun activities have become one of the main tourist attractions in Mallorca.

As well as getting a close-up look at the achievements of one of the best tennis players of all time, on the exhibition floor of the Rafa Nadal Museum visitors can marvel at some objects donated by some of the biggest names in world sports such as Michael Jordan, Fernando Alonso, Valentino Rossi, Tiger Woods, Pau Gasol, Roger Federer, Mireia Belmonte, Usain Bolt, Serena Williams, Marc Marquez and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Also, by visiting the Rafa Nadal Museum visitors contribute to a number of charity initiatives as some of the proceeds go to the Rafa Nadal Foundation.
