With less than 10 days left before the closing of the summer transfer window, Manchester United are still actively exploring potential signings. Notably, United have already spent over £200 million to acquire the services of Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo, and Benjamin Sesko.

Manchester United, under Ruben Amorim, are reportedly close to finalising a deal for Royal Antwerp goalkeeper Senne Lammens. Following this potential signing, Amorim may focus on other key areas, particularly midfield.

Having already splurged over £200 million in the ongoing summer transfer window, the Red Devils may face financial constraints, and on top of that, they have still not managed to attract offers for the players they desire to sell. However, that has not stopped them from continuing to explore the market. According to Manchester Evening News, the club has listed further targets and may work their way to rope them in during the days leading up to the transfer window deadline, September 1.

Manchester United interested in Angelo Stiller?

Several reports in the English media earlier stated that , but recent reports suggest that United’s interest in Baleba was only exploratory, and the club aimed to find out what conditions Fabian Hurzeler’s side would put in front of United for the sale of the player. It is not clear whether United will push for the player this summer or will resume interest in the 21-year-old in 2026.

According to Sky Sports, United now have eyes on VfB Stuttgart midfielder Angelo Stiller. The report further states that the club has explored a move to bring the 24-year-old to Old Trafford. However, no club-to-club contact has been made for the player.

While United are in advanced talks to sign Lemmens, reports suggest that interest in Gianluigi Donnarumma has not completely dipped. However, given that they already have Altay Bayindir and Andre Onana, it will be unlikely that they go for Donnarumma, considering Lemmens is reportedly set to sign.

Red Devils face challenges with outgoings

When it comes to potential outgoings, with nine days left in the window, there is still nothing solid on Jadon Sancho, Antony, and Alejandro Garnacho. Rasmus Hojlund, however, is reportedly linked with Napoli and reports suggest that a loan move could take place.

“I think again, I know that is not a good thing to have players in this situation,” Amorim said on Friday, as quoted by Manchester Evening News. “But it’s clear they want to play in a different club and that is clear.

“So we try to arrange everything for both parts to be happy, so I have to try to imagine to have the training with the guys that I think are going to be the future and the other guys are training and preparing for the next chapter.

“When the window is closed, it’s a different history, when the window is closed, we have to receive the players and in a new life, anything can happen.”
