Gujarat Titans Retained and Released Players: GT IPL 2026 Retention List

Last year’s runners-up Gujarat Titans will enter the IPL 2026 auction with a purse of Rs 12.9 crore and five available slots, including four for overseas players, as they aim to mount another strong title challenge.

NEW DELHI: Gujarat Titans have announced their retention list for the IPL 2026 season, confirming the core group that will remain with the franchise ahead of the upcoming mega auction. The 2022 champions have held on to key stars including captain Shubman Gill, Rashid Khan, Sai Sudharsan, Rahul Tewatia, Shahrukh Khan, Jos Buttler, Mohammed Siraj and others who continue to be central to their plans.

As part of the restructuring process, the Titans have released Gerald Coetzee, Karim Janat, Mahipal Lomror, Dasun Shanaka and Kulwant Khejroliya, aiming to strengthen specific areas for the new season. Earlier, Sherfane Rutherford was traded to Mumbai Indians. Vikram Solanki, Director of Cricket, said: “Our strategy was to retain a core that aligns with the long-term vision of Gujarat Titans. We want continuity, balance and a strong pipeline that adds to Indian cricket’s future.
