In a touching display of cross-border sportsmanship, a Pakistani cricket fan has gone viral after supporting India during the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup Final.

The gesture came as India defeated South Africa by 52 runs to clinch their maiden Women’s World Cup title.

India’s victory marked a historic moment in women’s cricket, as the team lifted the trophy after previous final losses in 2005 and 2017. Led by captain Harmanpreet Kaur, the side delivered a commanding performance, with Shafali Shah starring both with bat and ball and Deepti Sharma playing a crucial supporting role.
